In our Indonesian workshops, the wood is shaped, sanded and finished by hand, step by step, by cabinetmakers who have done nothing else for twenty years. A wipe with a soft, dry cloth is all it needs day to day, and an occasional teak oil keeps its warm tone alive.
Add washed linen, a rattan light and almost nothing else — that is the whole recipe. It celebrates the boho way of living: slower, warmer and closer to natural materials.
