Meet the Bali Bench, a rattan bench shaped by hand in Bali in the natural finish, measuring 94 × 40 × 36 cm. Versatile by nature, it works at the dining table, in an entryway, at the foot of a bed or in the garden.
Rattan is a climbing palm from the forests of Southeast Asia: light, flexible when steamed and remarkably strong once it dries in shape. The weave is built row after row by hand, following techniques passed down through generations of Balinese craftspeople.
It also works beautifully at the foot of a bed or along a garden wall. Paired with earthy tones and natural fibres, it creates the warm, layered boho atmosphere BaliSouk is known for. As a natural material, it is happiest indoors or on a well-sheltered veranda. Add a long cushion and a couple of pillows to make it even more inviting. Many of our clients choose this kind of piece for villas, boutique hotels and beach clubs as well as for their own homes.
