Handcrafted in Bali, the Batavia Lux Bench is a teak bench in the natural finish, measuring 160 × 85 cm and 71 cm high. Versatile by nature, it works at the dining table, in an entryway, at the foot of a bed or in the garden.
Few timbers age as gracefully as teak: its natural oils help it resist moisture and insects, and its honey-gold grain deepens with the years. Each component is cut and hand-sanded by our Balinese craftsmen, then assembled and finished with care.
It also works beautifully at the foot of a bed or along a garden wall. Paired with earthy tones and natural fibres, it creates the warm, layered boho atmosphere BaliSouk is known for. Thanks to its material, it can also live on a covered terrace or veranda. Pair it with a console or a row of hooks in the entryway, or with a dining table for extra seats.
