The Duisburg Bench is a teak bench with real handcrafted character, finished in the natural finish, measuring 160 × 35 cm and 45 cm high. Simple, sturdy and full of texture, it adds warmth to a hallway, a dining room or a terrace.
Teak has long been the wood of choice in Bali for pieces meant to last, thanks to a dense grain and natural oils that protect it from humidity. Balinese woodworkers shape every piece by hand, taking the time to smooth each edge and curve. Its colour evolves over time, gaining depth indoors and a soft silver patina if left untreated outside. The water-based finish protects the surface and keeps a soft, natural appearance. A wipe with a soft, dry cloth is all it needs day to day, and an occasional teak oil keeps its warm tone alive.
