The Fiji Elips Bench is a suar wood bench designed and handmade in Bali in the natural finish, measuring 180 × 42 cm and 40 cm high. It is the kind of piece that finds a new role in every room, and always looks right.
Suar wood comes from the rain tree, a large tropical tree whose wide trunks allow generous slabs with dramatic, marbled grain. Our artisans in Bali cut, shape and sand each part by hand before assembling it with traditional joinery. The contrast between light sapwood and darker heartwood makes every surface a one-off.
It also works beautifully at the foot of a bed or along a garden wall. Paired with earthy tones and natural fibres, it creates the warm, layered boho atmosphere BaliSouk is known for. Add a long cushion and a couple of pillows to make it even more inviting. Many of our clients choose this kind of piece for villas, boutique hotels and beach clubs as well as for their own homes.
