Handcrafted in Bali, the Gruetzi Bench is a teak bench in the natural finish, measuring 150 × 62 cm and 89 cm high. Simple, sturdy and full of texture, it adds warmth to a hallway, a dining room or a terrace.
Teak has long been the wood of choice in Bali for pieces meant to last, thanks to a dense grain and natural oils that protect it from humidity. Our artisans in Bali cut, shape and sand each part by hand before assembling it with traditional joinery. Knots, grain lines and subtle shifts of colour are the signature of real teak, not flaws to hide. Shipped in knock-down (KD) form, it takes up less space in transit and is quick to assemble at home. A wipe with a soft, dry cloth is all it needs day to day, and an occasional teak oil keeps its warm tone alive.
It also works beautifully at the foot of a bed or along a garden wall.
