Teak root is the dense, twisting base of the teak tree, a part rarely used in conventional furniture and prized for its sculptural forms. In our Bali workshops, the wood is shaped, sanded and finished by hand, step by step.
It also works behind a sofa, as a slim desk or as a dressing table. Whether your style leans boho, coastal or organic modern, its handcrafted character adds warmth and depth. Hang a mirror above it and add a lamp and a vase to complete the entryway. Many of our clients choose this kind of piece for villas, boutique hotels and beach clubs as well as for their own homes.
