The Teak Root Console is a teak root console table designed and handmade in Indonesia, measuring 200 × 50 cm and 85 cm high. It gives an entrance the calm, collected look of a Bali villa.
The grain runs long and straight, with the occasional ripple where a branch once grew — the wood's own record of how it lived. It is built the slow way — hand-cut joinery, hand sanding through three grits, and a finish applied in thin coats rather than sprayed on. Left alone outdoors it will silver into a soft grey patina; a light sanding and an oil brings the honey colour straight back.
Style it with a lamp, a stack of books and a vase to complete the composition. It celebrates the boho way of living: slower, warmer and closer to natural materials.
