Say hello to the Seken Console: a teak wood console table shaped by hand in our Java workshops, available in 2 sizes, from 120 × 40 × 80 cm to 180 × 40 × 80 cm. Narrow enough for a hallway, generous enough to hold everything you drop on your way in.
The best teak is cut from the heart of the trunk, and that is the only part we use — it is denser, darker and far more stable than the outer sapwood. The shaping, the assembly and the finishing are all done by hand, which is why two pieces of the same model are never quite twins. Dust it dry, wipe spills as they happen, and give it a coat of teak oil once a year if you want to hold the golden tone.
It reads beautifully against off-white walls, terracotta pots and a wide-plank floor. It celebrates the boho way of living: slower, warmer and closer to natural materials.
