The Tarakan Bench combines natural teak wood with loom weaving, its considerable 111 by 40.5 by 46 centimetre proportions bringing genuine textural, mixed-material seating into a garden or entryway setting.
Loom weaving is a technique offering genuine material distinction from the rattan found throughout most of the wider seating collection, bringing considered textural variety into functional bench design.
Its considerable 111-centimetre length offers genuine substantial seating capacity, comfortably accommodating multiple people for outdoor relaxation within a garden or entryway setting wanting real scale.
Because this piece is also featured among the collection's outdoor storage benches and garden benches, it offers genuine versatility suited to a range of outdoor placements throughout a property.
Because each loom panel is woven entirely by hand, subtle variation in the weave pattern remains part of the bench's genuine handcrafted character, distinguishing it from a uniform, machine-made alternative.
Within a bali furniture garden or entryway, the Tarakan brings genuine textural craftsmanship and substantial seating together. Because loom weaving varies subtly from piece to piece, no two Tarakan benches will ever be perfectly identical, a quality that distinguishes genuinely handcrafted furniture. A dependable, versatile choice suited to both everyday use and more considered entertaining occasions. Genuinely distinctive within the wider collection, and increasingly popular among buyers seeking authentic craftsmanship. Exceptional materials. Handcrafted by our artisans in Bali. Made to last. Every BaliSouk creation brings authentic boho and bohemian style together with skilled craftsmanship, traditional craft techniques and direct-from-Bali value.
Our boho and bohemian teak furniture is handcrafted from solid teak, one of the world's most prized furniture timbers. Naturally rich in protective oils and valued for stability, strength and longevity, teak is chosen for furniture designed to be kept rather than quickly replaced.
From material preparation and assembly to hand sanding, detailing and finishing, every stage passes through the skilled hands of our artisans in Bali.
Our boho and bohemian furniture and decor draw on the craft traditions for which Bali is known. Our artisans shape, assemble, weave, carve, sand and finish by hand according to the needs of each piece.
True boho and bohemian style is not about disposable trends. BaliSouk pieces combine considered materials, skilled craftsmanship and careful construction so they can remain part of a home for years to come.
Your BaliSouk boho and bohemian piece is made to order and handcrafted in Bali by our own artisans. We do not outsource the craftsmanship to external artisans: human skill remains at the heart of every stage.
BaliSouk supplies private customers and international retailers. Buying directly from Bali gives you access to authentic handcrafted boho and bohemian furniture and decor before the additional layers of wholesale, distribution and traditional retail markup.
