The Tokyo 2 Seat Bench With Back is a teak wood bench designed and handmade in Indonesia, measuring 140 × 45 cm and 80 cm high. It brings the lightness of a Bali villa indoors, a place to slow down.
Every plank is air-dried for months before it is touched, so the wood has already done its moving by the time it becomes furniture. Nothing here comes off a production line: the joints are cut by hand, the surfaces sanded by hand, and each piece is signed off one at a time. A wipe with a soft, dry cloth is all it needs day to day, and an occasional teak oil keeps its warm tone alive.
