Say hello to the AD Medium TV Cabinet: a teak wood TV cabinet shaped by hand in our Java workshops, measuring 150 × 45 cm and 60 cm high. It gives the television a home instead of letting it dominate the room.
Our teak comes from managed plantations on Java, where trees are left to reach full maturity before being felled — which is why the grain is so tight. In our Indonesian workshops, the wood is shaped, sanded and finished by hand, step by step, by cabinetmakers who have done nothing else for twenty years. No polish, no wax, no special product: a dry cloth, and teak oil once in a while.
Surround it with texture — a rattan basket, a linen cushion, an unglazed bowl — rather than more colour. It celebrates the boho way of living: slower, warmer and closer to natural materials.
