The AD Plasma TV Cabinet is a teak wood TV cabinet designed and handmade in Indonesia, measuring 180 × 45 cm and 60 cm high. It gives the television a home instead of letting it dominate the room.
Teak has long been the wood of choice in Indonesia for pieces meant to last, thanks to a dense grain and natural oils that protect it from humidity. Jepara has been Java's woodworking town for four centuries, and the hands that build this piece learned the trade from their fathers. A wipe with a soft, dry cloth is all it needs day to day, and an occasional teak oil keeps its warm tone alive.
Paired with earthy tones, natural fibres and a jute rug, it creates a warm, layered boho living room. It celebrates the boho way of living: slower, warmer and closer to natural materials.
