The Oblong Low Cabinet is a teak wood low cabinet with real handcrafted character, measuring 150 × 45 cm and 65 cm high. Beautiful storage changes everything: it hides the clutter and becomes a feature.
Our teak comes from managed plantations on Java, where trees are left to reach full maturity before being felled — which is why the grain is so tight. Every piece passes through the same small workshop in Jepara, where one craftsman follows it from the first cut to the final sanding. Left alone outdoors it will silver into a soft grey patina; a light sanding and an oil brings the honey colour straight back.
It reads beautifully against off-white walls, terracotta pots and a wide-plank floor. It celebrates the boho way of living: slower, warmer and closer to natural materials. Many of our clients choose this kind of piece for villas, boutique hotels and beach clubs as well as for their own homes.
