Our teak comes from managed plantations on Java, where trees are left to reach full maturity before being felled — which is why the grain is so tight. Jepara has been Java's woodworking town for four centuries, and the hands that build this piece learned the trade from their fathers. No polish, no wax, no special product: a dry cloth, and teak oil once in a while.
